Opening for a Social Media Intern

 

Social Media Paid Internship

 

Position Description:

The BCHRTF is seeking a Social Media Intern. This is a six-month paid internship. We are able to pay $15.00 dollars per hour, with hours not exceeding six hours per month.

 

Working closely with Board Members, this role will help with finding and suggesting content for BCHRTF Facebook (FB) account, promote BCHRTF events, and highlight activities in Bonner County that advances BCHRTF’s mission

 

About Bonner County Human Rights Task Force (BCHRTF):

Located in North Idaho, the Bonner County Human Rights Task Force has been active in the community since 1992. With a membership of well over 300, the Task Force works to promote tolerance, support human dignity, and educate adults and youth across the county.

 

Our Mission: BCHRTF's responsibility is to affirm the American principles and ideals of the inviolable dignity and worth of each human being. The mission of the BCHRTF is to promote and secure mutual understanding and respect among all people. BCHRTF recognizes that it is the racial, social, and cultural diversity of our people that makes Bonner County a rich and worthwhile place to live.

  • Enjoys working in a collaborative space and understands that sharing ideas, information and knowledge, leads to successfully meeting goals.

Expectations:

  • Actively seeks feedback, and shares ideas with designated BCHRTF Board Members.

  • Enhances our current FB site that projects positive messaging and engagement.

  • Checks and monitors FB pages frequently.

  • Post multiple types of media to the account as requested.

  • Manages posting privileges and community posts on the FB page
