About the Event
Inspired and following the leadership of Grace Rookey, a Sandpoint High School sophomore, 70 people gathered March 6 for a peaceful event to stand in support of the people of Ukraine. Sundays for Ukraine builds on that event, and encourages members of our community to come together to take a stand against the violence, oppression, and violation of core human rights being perpetrated by Russia against the Ukrainian people.
