We created the Bruhjell Blend for our 4th annual fundraiser for the Better Together Animal Alliance in memory of Erik Bruhjell, a 22-year old Sandpoint resident who passed away in July 2018. Erik's spirit and his passion for animals lives on through this event and the proceeds from the fundraiser will positively impact the lives of dogs and cats at the Better Together Animal Alliance.
Bruhjell is deeply missed in the community by his friends and family who remember him as a wonderful human being that loved people, animals, and the environment. Bruhjell loved coffee and Evans Brothers, where he was a regular customer. Since his passing, this event has raised thousands of dollars for BTAA, which are used to fund community-based programs like the shelter’s helpline, spay and neuter fund, and medical help for sick or injured animals.
This years Bruhjell Blend was carefully crafted to showcase delightful flavor notes of milk chocolate, hazelnut, and berry jam. It is available online and in our cafes beginning November 20th-28th. 100 percent of proceeds from the Bruhjell Blend will benefit BTAA. Nov 27th and 28th, the Sandpoint Cafe will also host the annual fundraiser where proceeds from cafe sales will benefit the Better Together Animal Alliance.
This is a time of being thankful. Erik would have been 25 this year. We hope you will help us reach our goal of raising $2500 for our furry friends!
