Days of Remembrance


Join people across the country during the annual Days of Remembrance to commemorate the six million Jews who were murdered during the Holocaust and the other victims of Nazi persecution. Their history inspires people everywhere to confront hatred and warns us of the consequences when antisemitism remains unchecked.

From left, Henryk, Felicja, and Salomon, the children of Lazar and Czarna “Lucia” Lippermann, in Kraków in May 1940, before the Kraków ghetto was established. The family did not survive the Holocaust. The children’s aunt donated the photo to the Museum in hopes they would be remembered.
