American Stories

Many Americans took tremendous risks and faced personal danger—near or behind enemy lines in Europe—to save lives and help defeat Nazi Germany. Today, we highlight a few of their inspiring stories, reminding us of the power of individual choices and action. When people choose to help those experiencing hatred and antisemitism, they can make a difference.
